This survey is similar to an insurance condition and valuation survey making sure the vessel operates under its own power. These surveys include a visual inspection of the following:

• Cosmetics (Appealing to Marina)

This short survey includes a visual inspection of the running and bottom gears to detect delamination or bad repairs of the bottom. The running gears testing includes a scratch test.
